Welcome to the Nelsonville-York City School’s Office of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment.  We work with the teachers and administrators to be sure our courses of study are aligned with the Ohio Department of Education content standards.  We also order teaching materials and plan professional development for our faculty and staff.

 

Probably the most visible part of this office is the responsibility of all the required testing for the district.  We order, help administer, and study the results of each assessment given to our students.  By examining the results, we can better serve each student individually, order proper materials, and plan appropriate professional development.
