Direct Admiissions

Important Note: If you do NOT want to participate in this program - you must complete the opt-out form.

Ohio’s Direct Admission Program is designed to make the college admissions process easier and help students discover more opportunities after high school. Through the program, participating Ohio colleges and universities can review information already available through a student’s high school and proactively offer admission to eligible students—sometimes without the student having to complete a traditional college application first.

Why is this exciting?

Students may receive early admission offers from participating colleges.

It can reduce the stress, cost, and paperwork associated with applying to college.

Students may discover colleges they had not previously considered.

An admission offer gives students another option to consider as they build their college plans.

Important: A Direct Admission offer does not mean a student has to attend that college. Students and families should still compare colleges, programs, costs, financial aid, and overall fit before making a decision.

The Ohio Direct Admission Program begins with students graduating in 2026–2027 (Class of 2027) from participating schools.
